The advanced reactor system is expected to be a game-changer for nuclear power and energy markets, and helps the transition to a carbon-free future. However, the uncertainties associated with the design, analysis, test, licensing, and construction present major challenges to its deployment. This two-day workshop intends to bring together researchers and stakeholders from nuclear industry, universities, national laboratories, and government to discuss challenges, needs, and emerging trends in innovations that enable acceleration of development, licensing, and commercialization of advanced reactor technologies.
