Alsaeed wins student poster prize at American Vacuum Society Symposium

Congratulations Omar Alsaeed, recipient of a student poster prize at the American Vacuum Society (AVS) 69th International Symposium. His research was entitled “Stability Model for Inductively Coupled Radiofrequency Discharges”. Omar is a doctoral student, advised by Dr. Amanda Leitz in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at NC State University.

AVS is a member society of the American Institute of Physics. Founded in 1953 AVS supports networking among academic, industrial, government, and consulting professionals involved in a variety of disciplines – chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, all engineering disciplines, business, sales, etc. through common interests related to the basic science, technology development, and commercialization of materials, interfaces, and processing.
