About Pat:

Pat is from Jackson, New Jersey and is currently a sophomore majoring in Nuclear Engineering. He gained interest in plasma physics from attending a lecture held by Dr. Katharina Stapelmann where he learned about the biomedical applications of plasmas in oncology. Pat hopes to pursue the biomedical applications of plasmas in the hope of being engineer better medicines for the future. After graduation, Pat plans to obtain a Masters and Ph.D. in either nuclear engineering or medical physics.
