Athe wins ANS NURETH best paper award

Congratulations to Paridhi Athe on receiving a Best Paper Award at the American Nuclear Society (ANS) 20th International Topical Meeting on Nuclear Reactor Thermal Hydraulics (NURETH-20). The meeting took place in Washington DC this August.

Paridhi is an alumna of NC State Nuclear Engineering, completing her PhD under Dr. Nam Dinh in 2018. The dissertation was entitled “A Framework for Predictive Capability Maturity Assessment of Computer Simulation Codes”. She is currently a research scholar in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and affiliated with the Center for Nuclear Energy Facilities and Structures (CNEFS) on campus. Her work supports licensing applications for advanced reactors.
