Nuclear Engineering students, Nina Sorrel, Joseph Cambareri & Muhammad Altahhan, won best papers at the International Conference on Nuclear Engineering in London, England. Nina, advised by Dr. Ayman Hawari, won for her paper titled “TREAT Transient Modeling and Impact of Graphite Thermal Scattering“. Joseph, advised by Dr. Igor Bolotnov, won for his paper titled “Interface Tracking Simulations of Two-Phase Flow Utilizing Adaptive Meshing Capabilities“. Muhammad, advised by Dr. Maria Avramova, won for his paper titled “Multiphysics Analysis of Silicon Carbide and Zircaloy Cladding“.
