Accepting Applications for NC State’s Young Investigators’ Summer Program in Nuclear Engineering

Join us this July and discover how nuclear technologies solve everyday problems while meeting the needs of society!  Through a combination of group projects, labs, lectures, guest speakers and industry field trips, you will answer such as –

  • How can we develop energy sources for the U.S.?
  • How can we detect low concentrations of environmental pollutants?
  • How are nuclear methods revolutionizing medical diagnostics and treatments?

 

WHEN: July 10 to 28, 2017 (check-in on July 9)
WHERE: NC State’s Department of Nuclear Engineering
WHO CAN ATTEND: Rising juniors, rising seniors & graduating high school seniors
COST: $1200 for 3 weeks … includes accommodation, daily meals, industry field trips, gym passes (weight room excluded) etc. Need-based tuition scholarships available
