Matt Zimmer placed 1st at the American Nuclear Society (ANS) inaugural competition – Pitch your PhD. Students were asked to give a three-minute presentation, captivating an audience of their peers who voted for the best pitches. Zimmer’s work is on “Fundamental Vertical Two-Phase Flow Regime Transition Study using Interface Resolved Simulations”.
The competition was co-sponsored by the Young Member Group (YMG) and Education, Training and Workforce Division (ETWDD) at the June annual meeting.
