2. Pre-College & Undergraduate Outreach
- Elementary and middle school programming is done by the College of Engineering K-12 Outreach Program, www.engr.ncsu.edu/k12outreach/outreach.html
- Field Trips for high school & college level science classes and science clubs. Students participate in a one-and-a-half hour program. We highlight the field of nuclear engineering and industrial applications underway in the department. Two-week advance notice is required.
- In-Class Lectures
High school and college science classes are visited to discuss nuclear engineering and its applications along with career opportunities available.

3. Graduate Outreach
- Departmental visits can be arranged by contacting lisa.marshall@ncsu.edu a minimum of two week's in advance.
A degree in science (e.g. Physics) and/or engineering is required for admissions.
