Abstract
Is the "Nuclear Renaissance" real or perhaps an over used term simply referring to an engineer's pipe dream? Jim Scarola, Progress Energy's Chief Nuclear Officer, will talk about what the nuclear renaissance means to his company, why there is a definite need for additional electricity in the Southeast and why Progress Energy is putting their money on nuclear.
