Graduate Traineeships
We are pleased to announce the availability of nuclear
industry/national laboratory sponsored Graduate Traineeship leading to
the Master of Nuclear Engineering degree to qualified US citizen or permanent
resident graduate students. There is a 15 month traineeship period, of
which six summer months will be at the sponsor's site working on the Master's
project. A generous stipend, full tuition/fees and health insurance will
be provided. The currently identified traineeship areas are:
- Nuclear Computational methods development
- Fuel element design and fabrication
- Reload core design and analysis
- Design issues for the Spallation Neutron Source
- High-level waste management program
- Reactor engineering services (licensing, lifetime
extension)
